My girls love to dance. My oldest is currently in dance classes (they do tap and ballet) and she loves it. She is always walking around the house showing me her plies. It is so cute! My youngest, who just wants to be like her big sister, tries to do them as well (check out this adorable video of her doing them). I cannot wait until she is old enough to start dance classes next year.

This week has been school vacation week – which also means no dance class. My daughter was not too happy that she had to miss it. I was so excited to receive Petite Feet 2: The Alphabet Jungle because I was sure that both girls would have a blast doing it! Sure enough, as soon as they saw the cover, they got really excited. I told my daughter that since she was missing dance this week, I brought dance to her. We were only about halfway through the stretching when she told me she needed to get her dance leotard and shoes on. Both girls watched intently and went through the entire DVD – and then asked to do it again (twice!).

This is such a great video for little ones that makes dancing fun! The entire lesson is done in a story-like way – even the stretching has a story to it. I love the way it is done because it holds little ones attention throughout the whole lesson. We were all mesmerized with it – it was a blast! I know this is a video we will do over and over. My daughter cannot wait to tell her dance teacher about it. To purchase your copy head over to the Petite Feet website or Amazon. You can also stream this lesson, as well as others on their website!
