The Last Disney Infinity Play Set: Finding Dory | #FindingDory #DisneyInfinity

I am a huge gamer – and a giant fan of Disney Infinity. When the news broke that Disney Interactive would stop making Disney Infinity Play Sets and Figures, my heart broke a little. This is a game that I have enjoyed playing with my entire family. It is fun because we can all choose which of our favorite Disney characters we want to play and have some quality time together. Whether we play in the toy box, or play through one of the sets, we always have a good time. This is a game that my 5 and 3 year old have played together just the two of them – and I have been a proud mom to witness it. All good things must come to an end, but at least we got a Finding Dory play set out of it all. This is the last one, but it is worth picking up. I do wish there was a Hank figure to go along with it – but we got Nemo and Dory so I’ll take it!

Alice Through the Looking Glass Disney Infinity Figures | #ThroughTheLookingGlass #DisneyInfinity

Disney Infinity may be coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean that my family and I can still enjoy countless hours playing all three versions. This will continue to be a family favorite in our house – especially the new Marvel Battlegrounds which enables us all to play together (even my 3 year old). As I am sure you know, Alice Through the Looking Glass recently hit theaters and now there are three characters from that film available as Disney Infinity Figures. These can be used in the toy box, but do not have their own playset, unfortunately.

Marvel Battlegrounds is Fun For the Whole Family | #MarvelBattlegrounds #DisneyInfinity

As you might know already, I am a huge gamer as well as a huge Disney and Marvel fan. So Disney Infinity is right up my alley. I have pretty much every single figure and playset from all 3 versions (Disney Infinity, Disney Infinity 2.0, and Disney Infinity 3.0), so I was super bummed to hear that Disney Infinity will be no more after the Alice and Finding Dory playset releases over the next couple of months. I am still holding out hope that it will continue on, but even if it doesn’t, it is a fame I will continue to play with my family for years. It is something that has brought us together for lazy Sundays and fun afternoons. It is something my 4 year old is actually really good at – and she enjoys playing. And my 3 year old just has fun making Elsa run in circles and shoot ice – honestly she could do that for hours and would be happy as a clam.

Review: Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games for Nintendo 3DS | #Nintendo #3DS

I have recently been playing Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and I honestly cannot get enough. It is addicting and so much fun! In the story mode of this game, you (as your Mii) train for the Olympics with either Team Mario or Team Sonic – I chose Team Mario but plan to play through on Team Sonic as well. There are 14 Olympic Game events (and 14 Plus Events with a Marion and Sonic twist!) to compete in and so far Beach Volleyball is my favorite – although they are all a lot of fun. Other events include boxing, 110m hurdles, javelin, archery, and even rhythmic gymnastics. I enjoy what I call “mommy time” playing this game by myself, but you can also team up with others. Up to 4 players can compete against each other with just one copy of the game in download play. If you have more than one copy of the game however, you can play using local play and have a wider selection of characters.

Learning Essentials STEM Robot Mouse Coding Activity Set | #Coding #STEM

Coding is fast-growing focus in elementary education and Learning Resources, known for their award-winning hands-on learning toys and games, has created one of the first hands-on introductory coding sets for the age 5+ crowd. Studies show when we use our hands to learn – by writing, by hands-on touch experimentation, etc. – we retain the information much better. With the new Learning Essentials STEM Robot Mouse Coding Activity Set that’s certainly the case and it’s loads of fun too! This set introduces the concept of step programming and challenges children to create, program and problem solve in a simple, exciting way. My daughters were so excited when they saw it arrive. My oldest is about to turn 5, and my youngest is only 3 – but they still had so much fun with it!

Geek Up Your Style with Loot Crate Level Up | #LootCrateLevelUp #FanGirlFriday

As most of you know, I am a total nerd! I love all things geeky like Star Wars, Marvel (the comics, movies, and TV shows), video games, and well – everything else you can think of. I love to let my geek flag fly by showing off my love for all things nerdy with my clothing. That is why I love Loot Crate Level Up so much! Loot Crate Level Up is a geek, gaming, and pop culture subscription service that delivers epic apparel, accessories, or socks every month! The March Theme was Versus and I could not be more thrilled with it. Two huge comic book movies depict versus (Batman Vs. Superman and Captain America: Civil War) so this was the perfect theme for Loot Crate to tackle!
