Your Kids Will LOVE Rock Dog + Grab a Free Activity Sheet & Enter To Win A Copy! | #RockDog #Giveaway

My daughters and 4 and 5 and they have been dying to see Rock Dog. We missed it in theaters because we happened to have a lot going on that month. We have a small theater in town and they actually only had it playing there for 2 weeks. I have been promising that we would watch it as soon as it came out on Blu-ray. Lucky for them (and me!) we were able to get an advance copy from Lionsgate – and it made their day! I mean, just look at those happy faces!

Why You Will Love The Space Between Us – Take It Home 5/16! | #TheSpaceBetweenUs #Giveaway

From the moment we saw the first trailer for The Space Between Us, my husband and I were very excited to see it. It looked like it would be very interesting. We love space related movies and shows – The Expanse is one of our favorite shows and this sort of reminded us of it. What seemed like a great story, a boy born on Mars whose body cannot survive the Earth’s atmosphere, was even better than both of us expected.

My girls are HUGE Cars fans. We have seen the first two films more times than I can count. My whole family is really excited for Cars 3 and are counting the days until June 16th! It comes out right before my oldest daughter’s 6th birthday so we plan to take her and a couple friends to see it. We have been watching the teasers and the new trailer for it over and over and getting excited. Whenever we go to Disney World, we always have to visit Lightning McQueen and Mater! If we don’t we would never hear the end of it from the girls!

From Makeup to Falling Asleep on Set: Michael Rooker & Sean Gunn Dish Guardians | #GotGVol2Event #GotGVol2

One of the funniest interviews of the day was our first interview of the day – Michael Rooker (Yondu) and Sean Gunn (Kraglin) in Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2. These two play a couple of Ravagers and work more closely together than you might think. They had us in stitches nearly the whole interview making it one of my favorites of the day. Apparently Michael Rooker feels the same way because he ended the interview saying some very things to us, “This is the best, this is the pinnacle of all the interviews that we have done. Oh, I could totally do this all day.”

Wimp Yourself + Win a $25 Visa GC to See Diary of a Wimpy Kid in Theaters 5/19! | #WimpyKid #Giveaway

My oldest daughter really liked the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies. My youngest is still a little young as “real people” movies are not her favorite, but she likes the sketch cartoons. If her attention can be held by a movie, than its usually a good one for kids as she is very antsy. My husband and I enjoy this series as well, so we are all really looking forward to the latest installment, The Long Haul.

Getting to Know The Genuises Behind Guardians of the Galaxy: James Gunn & Kevin Feige | #GotGVol2Event #GotGVol2

As I am sure you all know by now, I am a total Marvel Fan Girl. I have been reading the comics since I was a little girl so when the MCU started, I was more than excited. My favorite characters were coming to life, and boy did Marvel Studios know how to do it right. So when I got the interview list for the Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 event and saw not only James Gunn on it, but Kevin Fiege too, my heart almost exploded. I wasn’t sure I would be able to get words to come out of my mouth being in the same room as these two geniuses. But what happened after the interview was one of the best moments of my life – more on that later.

Spoiler Alert: Kurt Russell’s Guardians Character Ego Isn’t Who You Think He Is | #GotGVol2Event #GotGVol2

When I first interviewed Kurt Russell on the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2, I couldn’t believe I was talking with a movie legend. Because that is what he is, a legend. Then when I discovered I would have the chance to do it again, I was blown away. Let me start off by telling you what a gentleman he is. The interview was set up with a table in the front and 5 rows of 5 chairs. Kurt insisted on standing instead of sitting so that he could see all of us while we talked. I mean, who does that? What a great guy.

DC Super Hero Girls: Intergalactic Games – Digital Release 5/9 & DVD 5/23 | #DCSuperHeroGirls

We are big comic book fans in our house. I have been reading comics since I was a little girl and so I have started my daughters already a little bit. But more than read the comics, we watch a lot of DC Comics shows like Teen Titans and DC Super Hero Girls. DC Super Hero Girls has quickly become a favorite in our house – I personally love it because of the lessons it teaches my girls. They have learned to be themselves and care about others a lot through this show.
